Dog Behavior Training

Dog Behavior Training Doesn't Have To Be Difficult

The best and most rewarding dog behavior training processes makes use of positively reinforcing your dogs good behaviour. What I mean by this is that you reward your dog with lots of praise and amenity every time his conduct meets your approval and you must never reward him any time he is bad.

Your dog will go out of his way to please you and adores to hear you praising and rewarding him with goodies. When you reward your dog when his demeanor is good he will remember for the future and want to get more of this from you.

This may sound too good to be true but these techniques of always praising your dog positively for been good has been used for many years by most canine instructors and this will continue to be their preferred method for many more years to come.

On starting out with dog behavior training you will find that things gho a lot more smoothly if you teach him a command at a time. Do not tire him out too much as this will only make things harder for you and your dog. Try scheduling a time in your diary every day for around 15-20 minutes to dedicate to training your dog. Before you will know it you'll have put in a lot of hours and the results will show.

In the beginning teach your dog a different command each day as this will make training a little less boring for both you and your dog. When you start getting wound up with trying to get your dog to sit, give you his paw or lie down then just stop; take a well deserved break and have another go at it either later in the day or even tomorrow. Never shout at your dog. When you feel yourself going off like this then just simply leave the training for today.

With dog behavior training the more tougher commands will be less problematic to teach once he has picked up the simpler ones.
